Designed to be the catch-all, universal Pest Armor solution, L-Mesh is pretty straightforward. It’s an L-shaped length of metal mesh used to cover foundation gaps, gaps between a chimney and the rest of the house, dormer gaps, and more. But perhaps one of its most useful applications is on solar panels. Solar panels contain wires and other electrical components underneath to convert solar energy into electricity. The panels themselves typically rest several inches off the roof, making these components vulnerable to the teeth and claws of any critter that crawls underneath. L-Mesh installs easily into the roof, resting nicely against the side of the solar panel to keep critters out. It’s available in 3-½” and 5-½” heights to accommodate a variety of solar panel dimensions.
