The original Ridge-Guard is made of a durable 20 gauge expanded galvanneal steal that is roll formed and then powder coated. This product is formed and then powder coated. This product is under the exposed edges of a roofs ridge vent. This area often fails to keep animals out due to gaps that form along the bottom edge. Once installed, the ridge vent is fully protected from entry and the product is virtually invisible. Ridge-Guard is sold and shipped in heavy duty protective tubes that includes 160 linear feet of Ridge-Guard (21 - 91.5"' sections) and 200 (1 1/2" long) screws for attaching.
