The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has issued a memorandum identifying the categorization of Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers in response to COVID-19. Those deemed as essential can continue to operate as more quarantines and restrictions are put in place. NPMA has posted a comprehensive summary of what you need to know regarding the essential services designations on both a federal and state level that is being updated as new information is received.
FORSHAW & NPMA firmly believe that structural pest control is an essential industry that must continue to operate providing the valuable services needed during this pandemic.
  • CDC - The most up to date information will come from the Centers for Disease Control Website. NOT social media, conventional news outlets or politicians.

  • NPMA - NPMA will be regularly updating this page with important Coronavirus business updates, along with information on some frequently asked questions. You can also access NPMA’s recently recorded webinars featuring PMP panel discussions on performing pest management during challenging times and COVID-19 disinfection services.

  • Customer Communications - The need to communicate is more important now than ever. Download a templated letter from NPMA to send to your customers during this time.

  • OSHA – Guidance on preparing workplaces for COVID-19.

  • SBA – The U.S. Small Business Administration has loan programs specifically geared to help businesses affected by the pandemic. If your business has 500 or less employees, you are eligible to apply for the “small business” exemptions and support.
